I have been seeing Amy Schulstad for quite some time now, and I am very impressed with her method of adjusting the spine and her attitude toward her patients. Since my main focus as a Massage Therapist is the muscular soft tissue, I am not a big fan of “snap, crackle, pop” chiropractic care that can potentially injure tendons, ligaments, and muscles. I really enjoy the gentle and non-invasive techniques that Amy uses to guide the vertebrae into place. Amy’s professional and caring manner is just the kind approach that I believe fits into the new paradigm of compassionate preventative and corrective healthcare. It is a joy to work with her, and to receive the benefits of her expertise. My spine becomes more and more straight as our sessions progress, and I hold my adjustments for longer periods of time! Sometimes our appointments are nothing more than “check-ups” to monitor how my spine is re-patterning itself under Amy’s supervision. I like that, because it means that Amy is more interested in how my spine is functioning than in giving me an adjustment! She is easily one of the BEST chiropractors that I have seen!”
“I was afraid of chiropractors before I met Dr Amy. She told me of a new way of adjusting called the Blair Technique and so I said ok…well now I love to go to the chiropractor, as it is a wonderful technique and Dr Amy is fabulous to work with…unforturnately Dr. Amy moved and now I miss her…Your town has gotten a great caring chiropractor, I may have to fly to Denver just to get adjusted by the best…thanks Dr Amy!”
"Forty years ago I received a neck injury and began to have headaches. With the birth of my first daughter my hips rotated and never took their normal position which caused leg pain. As the years passed, my pain became more intense. My husband had success with chiropractic. Unfortunately, I did not have the same success. In fact, the tension and pain got worse.
Eventually I learned about Blair upper cervical chiropractic from a friend. In my search for a chiropractor who had that training, I found Dr. Amy. I learned that my neck injury had created a torque in my spine, tipping the head to the right and creating tightness from my left shoulder down the back and hip. The left hip was higher, causing the left leg to appear shorter than the right. The left shoulder burned at night, making it difficult to sleep.
With adjustments only to the first cervical vertebra, the torque and the tension began to unwind. I rarely have a headache and buring in my shoulder and back has diminished greatly. I am responding to the hip adjustments and the pain in my leg is so much less.
I am so grateful to this fine young doctor who cared enough to further her chiropractic education by specializing in Blair. She is very knowledgeable and highly skilled. She is not an assembly line chiropractor. She takes time to examine her patients, listen, discuss her evaluation and adjust them according to their needs."
